Educational objective : the course is devoted to the two phases of the auction procedure: before the judge hearing the case on the merits, and then before the auction judge in the context of an auction sale. At the end of the course, you will be able to :
- Be familiar with the rules governing partition proceedings,
- Understanding the preparation and conduct of a sales hearing,
- Manage the effects of the award,
- Anticipating problem areas.

From the preparation of the file to the judgment ordering the sale:
- Definitions,
- The general rules of partition,
- The various applicants for the auction,
- Drawing up the summons to appear before the family affairs judge or the court,
- The judgment ordering the auction.
The sale and its effects :
- Preparing for the sales hearing,
- The sales hearing process,
- One-upmanship,
- Exercising the right of pre-emption or the right of substitution,
- The effects of the auction,
- Notification of the sale,
- Penalties for defaulting bidders.
