Civil procedure, enforcement, securities. A deep academic background at the service of a demanding litigation practice.
Background
Charlotte Gauchon holds a master's in civil procedure and enforcement and a doctorate in procedural law from Aix-Marseille University. A laureate of the law faculty, she holds the agrégation as senior lecturer.
Before the Bar, she served in academia. This dual academic-practitioner background gives her a mastery of texts and case law that few practitioners possess.
In 2023 she co-founded SELARL Solent Avocats with Raphaël Morenon. The firm focuses exclusively on banking law, commercial law and enforcement.
Focus areas
Real-property foreclosure and enforcement in the broad sense form the core of her practice. Charlotte masters every step of these procedures where formalism is unforgiving.
Securities and guarantees round out her practice: suretyship, mortgages, movable security. The 2021 reform of security law renewed this field, and Charlotte follows its implementation closely.
Procedural law is a law of precision. Every word, every deadline, every formality counts. That is where the outcome of the file is decided.Charlotte Gauchon
